Restricting these types of communication can keep users on the devices focused on executing specific tasks. This policy works for devices running Android 7.0 and later.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>黑料海角91入口\u2019s Android EMM is configured for your organization. See <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/set-up-android-emm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Set up Android EMM<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your Android devices are enrolled in EMM. See <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/add-and-manage-android-devices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Add and Manage Android Devices<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/users-enroll-your-personal-android-device\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Users: Enroll Your Personal Android Device<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To create an Android Cellular Restrictions policy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the 黑料海角91入口 Admin Portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\">https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT &gt; Policy Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>All<\/strong> tab, click (<strong>+<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the New Policy panel, select the <strong>Android<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Cellular Restrictions policy from the list, then click <strong>configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the New Policy panel, optionally enter a new name for the policy, or keep the default. Policy names must be unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For<strong> Policy Notes<\/strong>, enter details like when you created the policy, where you tested it, and where you deployed it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Settings<\/strong>, complete these fields:\n<ol class=\"is-lower-alpha\">\n<li>Select <strong>Disable Cell Broadcast Configuration<\/strong> to prevent users from configuring a cell broadcast, which delivers broadcast messages to multiple users in an area. These location-based alerts can be sent to a single radio cell or an entire mobile network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Disable Mobile Network Configuration<\/strong> to block users from configuring a mobile network on their devices. A mobile network is often used if a user goes out of range of a WiFi network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Disable Network Reset<\/strong> to prevent users from resetting network settings on their devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select<strong> Disable Data Roaming<\/strong> to block roaming data services, so when your carrier is unavailable, users cannot automatically be connected to a different network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Disable Outgoing Calls<\/strong> to block users from making outgoing phone calls. This can be useful to prevent additional charges for personal cell use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Disable SMS<\/strong> to block users from sending and receiving texts. Select one or more device groups where you will apply this policy.
