Leverage this integration to centralize user lifecycle, user identity, and group management in 黑料海角91入口 for Druva. Save time and avoid mistakes, as well as potential security risks, related to manually creating users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read this article to learn how to setup the Druva integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A 黑料海角91入口 Administrator account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>黑料海角91入口 SSO Package or higher\u00a0or SSO \u00e0 la carte option<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Druva user account with administrator permissions &#8211; only Druva Cloud administrators and inSync Cloud administrators can generate a token<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Druva enterprise SaaS app<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If you need to update your token, you must&nbsp;<a href=\"#to-deactivate-the-idm-integration\">deactivate the IdM integration<\/a>, update the token, and then reactivate the IdM integration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deactivation or deletion of a user in the IdP leads to the preservation of the user account in Druva inSync<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inSync does not create, update, or delete any user accounts or modify their information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Users preserved by administrator in the inSync Management Console, cannot be re-activated from the IdP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a user is deactivated from IdP, administrators need to again assign the SCIM app to the user to activate (change user account status from Preserved to Active) the user account in inSync<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The SCIM attributes that you define in the SCIM mapping must be mapped to the IdP attributes in the IdP; else the user creation fails<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a user does not classify or fall under any SCIM mapping created in Druva inSync, the user account creation fails.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Druva recommends that you also create a default mapping with the configuration &#8216;Allow any user&#8217;. This default mapping will ensure that any users who do not classify or fall under any of the mappings are created with a default configuration. The priority of this default mapping can be set to lowest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once you create a SCIM mapping, you can only modify the Mapping Name and inSync configuration. You cannot modify the Users criteria to filter users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The option to use SCIM is available only to customers who have not used AD or LDAP to manage users in inSync:\n<ul>\n<li>No AD or LDAP account must be configured to import users in inSync Management Console<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No AD or LDAP mapping should exist in inSync Management Console<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No AD or LDAP managed user in &#8216;Active&#8217; and &#8216;Preserved&#8217; state should exist in the inSync Management Console<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The profile and storage assigned to the manually added users in inSync and which you may want to manage using SCIM, stay the same even after the migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The filter is case sensitive. The value you specify in the SCIM mapping and the attribute value in IdP should be in the same case<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Token is valid for 365 days from the day it is generated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Druva, the following operations are supported for users:\n<ul>\n<li>Create users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deactivate\u00a0or Remove users<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Druva, the following updates to user information are supported:\n<ul>\n<li>Display Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Druva, the following SCIM provisioning actions are not supported:\n<ul>\n<li>Password sync<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing or migration of user accounts from inSync to IdPs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing of user groups within IdPs in inSync<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"attribute-considerations\"><strong>Attribute Considerations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A default set of attributes are managed for users. See the\u00a0<a href=\"#attribute-mappings\">Attribute Mappings<\/a>\u00a0section for more details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-creating-a-new-jumpcloud-application-integration\"><strong>Creating a new 黑料海角91入口 Application Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">黑料海角91入口 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to\u00a0<strong>USER AUTHENTICATION\u00a0<\/strong>&gt;\u00a0<strong>SSO<\/strong> <strong>Applications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>+&nbsp;Add New Application<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type the name of the application in the <strong>Search <\/strong>field and select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Display Label<\/strong>, type your name for the application. Optionally, you can enter a <strong>Description<\/strong>, adjust the User Portal Image and choose to hide or <strong>Show in User Portal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>If this is a Bookmark Application, enter your sign-in URL in the <strong>Bookmark URL<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Optionally, expand <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong> to specify a value for the<strong> SSO IdP URL<\/strong>. If no value is entered, it will default to <kbd>https:\/\/sso.jumpcloud.com\/saml2\/&lt;applicationname&gt;<\/kbd>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>The <strong>SSO IdP URL<\/strong> is not editable after the application is created. You will have to delete and recreate the connector if you need to edit this field at a later time.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"8\">\n<li>Click <strong>Save Application<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If successful, click:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Configure Application<\/strong> and go to the next section <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Close<\/strong> to configure your new application at a later time <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Configuring the SSO Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure 黑料海角91入口<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"#creating-a-new-jumpcloud-application-integration\">Create a new application<\/a>&nbsp;or select it from the&nbsp;<strong>Configured Application<\/strong>s list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>SSO<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Replace any instances of YOUR_SUBDOMAIN with the name of your subdomain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add any other desired attributes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Download the certificate<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Find&nbsp;your application in the&nbsp;<strong>Configured Applications<\/strong>&nbsp;list and click anywhere in the row to reopen its configuration window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>SSO <\/strong>tab and click <strong>IDP Certificate Valid &gt; Download certificate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card tip\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/tip-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Tip:<\/strong> \n<p>The certificate.pem will download to your local <strong>Downloads<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure Druva<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Click the hamburger menu to access the Global Navigation Panel&nbsp;<strong>&gt;<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Druva Cloud&nbsp;Settings &gt; Access Settings.&nbsp;<\/strong>The&nbsp;<strong>Access&nbsp;Settings&nbsp;<\/strong>window appears.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong><strong>Single Sign-On&nbsp;<\/strong><\/strong>section, click&nbsp;<strong><strong>Edit<\/strong><\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the following information:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>IdP UR<\/strong>L &#8211; copy and paste the 黑料海角91入口 <strong>IDP URL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IdP Certificate<\/strong> &#8211; copy and paste the contents of the certificate downloaded in the previous section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Single Sign On<\/strong> section, select <strong>Generate the SSO Token<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a copy of your&nbsp;Insync Auth Token.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure 黑料海角91入口 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Back in the SSO tab, enter&nbsp;<kbd>insync_auth_token=Insync_Auth_Token<\/kbd>&nbsp;where&nbsp;Insync_Auth_Token&nbsp;matches to Insync Auth Token from the SSO Configuration on Druva side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"authorizing-user-sso-access\"><strong>Authorizing User SSO Access<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Users are implicitly denied access to applications. After you connect an application to 黑料海角91入口, you need to authorize user access to that application. You can authorize user access from the <strong>Application Configuration<\/strong> panel or from the <strong>Groups Configuration<\/strong> panel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To authorize user access from the Application Configuration panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">黑料海角91入口 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>USER AUTHENTICATION &gt; SSO<\/strong> <strong>Applications<\/strong>, then select the application to which you want to authorize user access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>User Groups<\/strong> tab. If you need to create a new group of users, see <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/get-started-user-groups\">Get Started: User Groups<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the check box next to the group of users you want to give access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn how to authorize user access from the&nbsp;<strong>Groups Configuration<\/strong>&nbsp;panel, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/authorize-users-to-an-sso-application#user-groups-configuration-panel\">Authorize Users to an SSO Application<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"validating-sso-authentication-workflows\"><strong>Validating SSO user authentication workflow(s)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-idp-initiated-user-workflow\"><strong>IdP-initiated<\/strong> <strong>user workflow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Access the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/userconsole#\/\">黑料海角91入口 User Console<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to\u00a0<strong>Applications<\/strong> and click an application tile to launch it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>黑料海角91入口 asserts the user&#8217;s identity to the SP and is authenticated without the user having to log in to the application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sp-initiated-user-workflow\"><strong>SP-initiated<\/strong> <strong>user workflow<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Go\u00a0to the SP application login &#8211; generally, there is either a special link or an adaptive username field that detects the user is authenticated through SSO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card note\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/note-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Note:<\/strong> \n<p>This varies by SP.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Login redirects the user to 黑料海角91入口 where the user enters their 黑料海角91入口 credentials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the user is logged in successfully, they are redirected\u00a0back to the SP and automatically logged in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Configuring the Identity Management Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure Druva<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>On the inSync Management Console menu bar, navigate to&nbsp;<strong>Users &gt; Deployment<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Select a user provisioning method<\/strong>&nbsp;window, click&nbsp;<strong>Use SCIM<\/strong>&nbsp;and click&nbsp;<strong>Confirm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have not been redirected already, click the&nbsp;<strong>Settings&nbsp;<\/strong>tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>Auth Token for SCIM<\/strong>&nbsp;section, click&nbsp;<strong>Generate Token<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the token for the next section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>The Client ID and Secret (token) may only be shown once. Copy them to a secure location, like the <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/get-started-jumpcloud-password-manager\">黑料海角91入口 Password Manager<\/a>, for future reference.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>To configure 黑料海角91入口<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"#creating-a-new-jumpcloud-application-integration\">Create a new application<\/a>&nbsp;or select it from the&nbsp;<strong>Configured Application<\/strong>s list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the&nbsp;<strong>Identity Managemen<\/strong>t tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019re presented with two fields:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Base URL<\/strong>: Enter the SCIM URL for Druva:\n<ul>\n<li>If you are inSync Cloud Customer:&nbsp;<kbd>https:\/\/apis.druva.com\/insync\/scim<\/kbd><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are inSync GovCloud Customer:&nbsp;<kbd>https:\/\/govcloudapis.druva.com\/insync\/scim<\/kbd><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Token Key<\/strong>: Paste the SCIM API Key you generated\/copied when configuring Druva.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>activate&nbsp;<\/strong>and then<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>click&nbsp;<strong>save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will receive a confirmation that the Identity Management integration has been successfully verified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can now connect user groups to the application in 黑料海角91入口 to provision the members of that group in Druva.
