Keeping information separate and secure in a personal profile lets you maintain appropriate personal usage policies. This policy works for devices running Android 5.1 and later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>黑料海角91入口\u2019s Android Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) is configured for your organization. See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/set-up-android-emm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Set up Android EMM<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your Android devices are enrolled in EMM.&nbsp;See&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/add-and-manage-android-devices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Add and Manage Android Devices<\/a>&nbsp;and<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/users-enroll-your-personal-android-device\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Users: Enroll Your Personal Android Device<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To create an Android Work &amp; Personal Usage policy<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/console.jumpcloud.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">黑料海角91入口 Admin Portal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to&nbsp;<strong>DEVICE MANAGEMENT &gt; Policy Management<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the&nbsp;<strong>All<\/strong>&nbsp;tab, click (<strong>+<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the New Policy panel, select the&nbsp;<strong>Android<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Work &amp; Personal Usage policy from the list, then click&nbsp;<strong>configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the New Policy panel, optionally enter a new name for the policy, or keep the default. Policy names must be unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For&nbsp;<strong>Policy Notes<\/strong>, enter details like when you created the policy, where you tested it, and where you deployed it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under&nbsp;<strong>Personal Settings<\/strong>, configure these fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Disable Camera<\/strong>&nbsp;to prevent users from accessing and using the camera in the personal profile to take a screenshot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Disable Screen Capture<\/strong>\u00a0to block users from taking screen captures in the personal profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>For\u00a0<strong>Maximum Days Work Profile is Paused<\/strong>, enter the number of days the user can turn off the work profile. When the work profile is off, the device\u2019s location sharing is not allowed. The minimum value for a work profile to be off is 3 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For <strong>App Control Mode<\/strong>, select one of the following options to control the applications that can be installed from the Google Play Store on the device&#8217;s Personal Profile.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Allow list<\/strong>: Only the apps explicitly specified under <strong>Personal Applications<\/strong> are allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Block list<\/strong>: All apps are allowed except those which are explicitly specified as blocked under <strong>Personal Applications<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Personal Applications<\/strong>, select the application(s) from the drop-down list that you want to specifically allow or specifically deny based on the <strong>App Control Mode<\/strong> setting above. \n<ul>\n<li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> to add a new application to the allow or block list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the trash icon to delete an application from the list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under\u00a0<strong>Personal &amp; Work Settings<\/strong>, configure these fields:\n<ul>\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Enable Copy and Paste<\/strong>&nbsp;to copy and paste profile data from one profile to another profile. This field works only on devices running Android 7.0 and later.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Share Profile Data<\/strong>&nbsp;to share data from one profile to apps in another profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Share Contacts&nbsp;<\/strong>to share contact data stored in the work profile with the personal profile. The data shows up in contact searches and incoming calls in a personal profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Work Profile Widgets<\/strong>\u00a0to allow work profile apps to add widgets to the home screen if there is no app-specific policy. This field works only on devices running Android 7.0 and later.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under\u00a0<strong>Communication Settings<\/strong>, configure these fields, select\u00a0<strong>Preferential Network Service<\/strong>\u00a0to enable preferential network service on the work profile. For example, you might want all work data from your employees&#8217; devices to\u00a0be sent via a network service dedicated for enterprise use. An example of a supported preferential network service is the enterprise slice on 5G networks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Select the<strong>&nbsp;Device Groups<\/strong>&nbsp;tab. Select one or more device groups where you will apply this policy. For device groups with multiple OS member types, the policy is applied only to the supported OS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>(Optional) Select the\u00a0<strong>Devices<\/strong>\u00a0tab.
