{"id":77014,"date":"2023-04-13T10:48:10","date_gmt":"2023-04-13T14:48:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/?post_type=support&#038;p=77014"},"modified":"2023-06-09T13:10:41","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T17:10:41","slug":"prepare-syncro-psa-for-integration-with-jumpcloud","status":"publish","type":"support","link":"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/prepare-syncro-psa-for-integration-with-jumpcloud","title":{"rendered":"Prepare Syncro PSA for Integration with 黑料海角91入口"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Prepare Syncro PSA before integrating with your 黑料海角91入口 environment.&nbsp;The Syncro PSA integration is used to Syncro PSA in the Multi-Tenant Portal (MTP)&nbsp;to stay informed on your customers\u2019 product usage, along with being alerted on high priority actionable incidents in the MTP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>An Admin with Billing role is required to set up the Integrations within the MTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A bearer (authorized API) Token from Syncro PSA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Syncro user that creates the API token needs to be a Global Admin, or be added to a Security Group with the following permissions:\n<ul>\n<li>Customers &#8211; List\/Search<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customers &#8211; View Detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tickets &#8211; Create<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tickets &#8211; Edit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tickets &#8211; List\/Search<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Generate an API Token in Syncro<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To generate an API (bearer) token:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your Syncro PSA account and click on the&nbsp;<strong>More<\/strong>&nbsp;dropdown menu in the top right corner. Select&nbsp;<strong>Admin<\/strong>&nbsp;from the list of options.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left navigation menu, scroll down until you find the section named&nbsp;<strong>API<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>API Tokens<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the next page of tokens, click&nbsp;<strong>New Token<\/strong>&nbsp;in the top right corner. 黑料海角91入口 won\u2019t be listed under the Prebuilt App Permissions so you need to create it.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Custom Permissions<\/strong>, then enter a name that you can easily identify with 黑料海角91入口 (i.e. 黑料海角91入口 Integration). You can enter an expiration date or leave it open ended.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, you need to select all of the options related to Ticketing, Recurring Invoices, Customers and Line Items. Starting alphabetically, find and select&nbsp;<strong>Customers &#8211; Create<\/strong>, along with all of the other Customer options until you reach&nbsp;<strong>Customer<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>&#8211; De Duplicate<\/strong>. Then do the same for&nbsp;<strong>Line Item &#8211; Apply Discount<\/strong>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<strong>Line Item &#8211; Add Manual Item for Invoices\/Estimates<\/strong>. Next, select everything from&nbsp;<strong>Tickets &#8211; List\/Search<\/strong>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<strong>Ticket Worksheets &#8211; Edit Ad-hoc<\/strong>. And finally, select all the options between&nbsp;<strong>Recurring Invoices &#8211; List<\/strong>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<strong>Recurring Invoices &#8211; Delete<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Create Api token<\/strong>. Your API token will be displayed on the next page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Copy this API token and save it to your password manager! You won\u2019t be able to see this token in plain text again. Learn more about&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/support\/enroll-users-in-jumpcloud-password-manager-admins\">黑料海角91入口\u2019s Password Manager<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Once your API token is safely stored somewhere, leave your tab open until you configure the integration in the 黑料海角91入口 MTP and continue to the next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Setting Permissions&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To make your user a Global Admin:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your Syncro PSA account and click on the&nbsp;<strong>More<\/strong>&nbsp;dropdown menu in the top right corner. Select&nbsp;<strong>Admin<\/strong>&nbsp;from the list of options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left navigation menu, scroll down until you find the section named&nbsp;<strong>Syncro Administration<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the User associated with the generated API Token, then select&nbsp;<strong>Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to&nbsp;<strong>SECURITY PERMISSIONS<\/strong>, select the&nbsp;<strong>Global Admin<\/strong>&nbsp;option and click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To add your user to a Security Group with permissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your Syncro PSA account and click on the&nbsp;<strong>More<\/strong>&nbsp;dropdown menu in the top right corner, then select&nbsp;<strong>Admin<\/strong>&nbsp;from the list of options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the left navigation menu, scroll down until you find the section named&nbsp;<strong>Syncro Administration<\/strong>, then click&nbsp;<strong>Security Groups<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a new or update an existing group with&nbsp;the following permissions:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Customers &#8211; List\/Search<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Customers &#8211; View Detail<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tickets &#8211; Create<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tickets &#8211; Edit<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tickets &#8211; List\/Search<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to&nbsp;<strong>Admin<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Syncro Administration<\/strong>&nbsp;&gt;&nbsp;<strong>Users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the User associated with the generated API Token, then click&nbsp;<strong>Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down to&nbsp;<strong>SECURITY PERMISSIONS<\/strong>, find&nbsp;<strong>Security\/Calendar Group<\/strong>.
