The crash report contains an error message \u201c<strong>Cannot create an item in a locked collection at Module<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-resolution\">Resolution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure the latest version of the Password Manager app is installed on your device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure no instances of the Jumpcloud Password Manager processes are running in the background by running the following command:<br><code>sudo ps aux | grep jcpwm<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If there are any previous instances running, terminate all of them. Then restart the app with sudo from command line:<br><code>sudo jcpwm<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method 1: Complete Reset of Password Manager App in Linux Devices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To completely reset the Password manager app in Linux devices, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Close the 黑料海角91入口 Password Manager App.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch the <strong>Terminal<\/strong> app on your device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy your backup folder to your desktop by running the following command in Terminal:<br><code>cp -R ~\/.config\/黑料海角91入口 Password Manager\/data\/daemon\/backup ~\/home\/user_name\/Desktop\/backup<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify that your files have been copied to your desktop. Open the Terminal again and run the following command:<br><code>\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200brm -rf ~\/.config\/黑料海角91入口 Password Manager<\/code><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uninstall and reinstall the Password Manager app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start the 黑料海角91入口 Password Manager app. Log in using your email address. Follow the steps displayed on screen to pair with an existing app if you have set it up on another device (mobile or desktop), or follow the steps to restore from backup and select the backup file that is on your device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method 2: When You Are Getting a Prompt To Unlock The Local Users Keyring<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are getting a prompt to unlock the local users keyring, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Reinstall <strong>Seahorse<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delete the existing login keyring and keystore stored in <code>~\/local\/share\/keyrings<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cgb-notification-card-wysiwyg notification-card warning\"><div class=\"notification-card-content\"><div class=\"notification-card-icon\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/jumpcloud\/assets\/images\/gutenberg-blocks\/warning-icon.png\" \/><\/p><\/div><div class=\"notification-card-copy is-type-body-default\"><div><strong class=\"notification-card-type\">Warning:<\/strong> \n<p>Be cautious when deleting files. Make sure you are deleting the correct files. You will lose all stored passwords and keys in this keyring. Take a backup if you have stored important details  in them.<\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Once deleted, reboot the device. After reboot, a new keyring is automatically created the next time you need to store a password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When prompted for a keyring password, you can set a new password.
