To date, Articulate has helped more than 115,000 organizations accelerate their workplace learning initiatives, strengthening skills in over 125 million learners across 167 countries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articulate, which is a fully remote company that has roughly 425 employees spread out across the world, closed a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/07\/01\/after-bootstrapping-since-2002-articulate-raises-1-5b-on-3-75b-valuation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$1.5 billion Series A round<\/a> in July 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"TheChallenge\">Needing to Consolidate Mobile Device Management Solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a shop that\u2019s about two-thirds Mac and one-third Windows, with a few Linux machines sprinkled into the mix, Articulate had been relying on two different <a href=\"https:\/\/jumpcloud.com\/platform\/mdm\">mobile device management (MDM) solutions<\/a> \u2014 one for Macs and one for Windows. While the two-pronged approach worked well enough, the Articulate team eventually needed to replace the Windows solution.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe needed to get off the one we were using for Windows because the subscription was running out and it had some previous security issues,\u201d explained Sam O\u2019Daniel, senior manager of IT services at Articulate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"TheSolution\">Unifying MDM with 黑料海角91入口<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since he\u2019d used it at a previous company, O\u2019Daniel was familiar with 黑料海角91入口 and knew it had the MDM functionality Articulate needed. But that solution wasn\u2019t connected to Google Workspace. \u201cIt made it really difficult for us to do a one-to-one audit quickly if we needed to,\u201d O\u2019Daniel explained. What did the receipt say? Recently, one of Articulate\u2019s customers asked if they could lock their devices when they were unattended for 30 minutes for added security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat was really easy to implement with 黑料海角91入口,\u201d O\u2019Daniel said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly, Articulate used 黑料海角91入口 to implement full-disk encryption on all machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O\u2019Daniel continued, \u201cWe just applied the policy, restarted the machines, and it took. That\u2019s it.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, 黑料海角91入口 enables Articulate to audit machines to ensure their operating systems and applications are up to date, preventing bad actors from exploiting buggy software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf there\u2019s a piece of software that has a security vulnerability, we can run a report to see who has that version and make sure they upgrade,\u201d O\u2019Daniel said. \u201c黑料海角91入口 lets us narrow that communication to only the people who need it and not send it out to the entire company.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. A strong user experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to 黑料海角91入口\u2019s intuitive design and feature-rich functionality, Articulate is able to control all of its devices more effectively and in less time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe user interface is just a much more modern and polished platform than either of the other two solutions that we had,\u201d Shields said. \u201cThe one we had for Windows essentially had no functionality at all in comparison. It\u2019s just so much easier than managing two separate repositories of things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
