Users: Change Your Password in the Windows App

The ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Windows App allows you to log in to your device with your ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú credentials and access the User Portal without having to remember the URL. Your ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú password also provides access to the device, software, WiFi, and everything else your organization's IT infrastructure has to offer.

You can use the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Windows App to change your password without help from your admin. The app only appears in the system tray if you log on with ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú user credentials. Your administrator must have set up your device and provided you with an account.

When your password is set to expire, you will receive a pop-up notification from the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú app. The frequency of this display varies depending on when the password is set to expire:

  • When the password is set to expire in 2 days or fewer, the notification displays every 4 hours.
  • When the password is set to expire between two and seven days, the notification displays every 12 hours.
  • When the password is set to expire between 1 and 2 weeks, the notification displays every 24 hours.

Considerations:

  • The passwords you create must adhere to the standards your organization and ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú requires for user account passwords. You'll get an error if you try to create a non-compliant password. If you do not know what your organization requires for user account passwords, ask your IT administrator.
  • Note that when you change your password, any active sessions (User Portal, SSO applications, RADIUS etc.) will be terminated.
