Create a Mac Password Modification Policy

This policy manages the ability of non-ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú users to change their password through System Settings. This policy works on devices running macOS 10.13 and later.

To create a Password Modification Policy for Mac:

  1. Log in to the .
  2. Go to DEVICE MANAGEMENT > Policy Management.
  3. In the All tab, click (+).
  4. On the New Policy panel, select the Mac tab.
  5. Select the Password Modification policy from the list, then click configure.
  6. Under Settings, select Allow Change Password to restrict users from changing their passwords via System Settings on their macOS device.
  1. (Optional) Select the Device Groups tab. Select one or more device groups where you'll apply this policy. For device groups with multiple OS member types, the policy is applied only to the supported OS.
  2. (Optional) Select the Devices tab. Select one or more devices where you'll apply this policy.
  3. Click save.
  4. For changes to take effect, log out and then log back in to the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Admin Portal.
