Create a Mac ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú App Controls Policy

You can use the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú App Controls to hide the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App from macOS devices in your organization. The ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App lets users log in to their device using their ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú credentials and access the User Portal without having to re-enter a password. The user’s ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú password also provides access to the device, software, WiFi, and everything else an IT infrastructure has to offer. The user can also use the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App to change the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú password without Admin intervention.

The ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú agent silently installs the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App automatically. You don't have to remember to manually install the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App. If you don't want to provide the user with access to the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App, you must manually hide it. Although you can hide the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App on a user’s device, we recommend that you leave it enabled. See Getting Started: the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App.

In some cases, the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App can’t be used on a device and should be hidden. One of these cases is when user accounts are managed by Active Directory through AD Integration. These user accounts can’t use the ºÚÁϺ£½Ç91Èë¿Ú Menu Bar App to reset their passwords.
